In this lesson, students examine the various threats and challenges which Queen Elizabeth faced from other countries such as Spain, France and Scotland as well as the influence of the Pope.

This lesson has been updated ready for the 2025 exams onwards and is based on the recently published GCSE specification.

The lesson includes:
