Game to help students develop their use of investigative terminology. Now also available - improved and updated version for new AQA GCSE Science specifications
Distribute cards randomly around class. Choose a word to start with and start timing. Student with that word reads definition on right of the same card. Student with a card that answers this definition reads answer, followed by definition on the right of this card. Continue until the final answer is the one that started the game. Stop timing. Aim to beat previous time whenever attempted.
