A quiz where students have to say which is bigger a or b, first with pictures then numbers, finally with numbers in standard form, hopefully highlighting the idea tha tstandard form helps compare and work with very big or very small numbers

I really like this starter but would also like the answers as I'm not sure if the wrestler is bigger than Crouch (have I got the right footballer??)
Great quiz on standard form, useful as a starter anytime or for revision - incorporates various ideas (e.g. fractions of amounts, knowing value of word million etc) not just standard form knowledge.
