I will be starting teaching the new 2016 GCSE PE Edexcel GCSE specification with Paper 2, Topic 1: Health, fitness and well-being.
The pack includes a powerpoint (2 lessons worth of content but you can move things around) and 4 work sheets/graphic organisers which can either be filled out on the computer or I print them in A3 back to back to 2 big work sheets to put in their folder. It also contains another activity for the 'ask the expert' section activity. If the video link doesn't work for you it's because you need to subscribe/pay for ActiveTeach for Edexcel, alternatively just find another video on youtube with someone talking about diet or make up your own in order to fill in that part of the sheet or change the box on the worksheet. Explain the role of Macro- and Micronutrients for physical activity. (5)
Analyse a food diary and evaluate it’s suitability for sport (6/7)
The second lesson's learning intentions are as below:
Explain the importance of hydration in physical activity. (5)
Explain how athletes would use carbohydrates and protein to maximise performance. (6)
Apply to 6 mark exam question (7)

This is a great lesson, students really enjoyed the different aspects and it follows the textbook well! Just wondering do you get through this in one week? As I am following your uploads and wondering how often you will be uploading a new pack?<br /> All been really fab, and it really helps with cut down on planning with this new spec.
