I will be starting teaching the new 2016 GCSE PE Edexcel GCSE specification with Paper 2, Topic 1: Health, fitness and well-being.
These two lessons involve a recap of lifestyle choices and negative effects. It goes into Sedentary lifestyles and the consequences of it. The second lesson is focused on data trends. Learning intentions are as follows:
Define the term ‘Sedentary lifestyle’. (4)
Explain the consequences a sedentary lifestyle might have on health. (5)
Interpret and analyse graphs on health trend data. (6/7)
The pack includes a large powerpoint (2 lessons worth of content but you can move things around) and 3 work sheets/graphic organisers which can either be filled out on the computer or I print them in A3 back to back to 2 big work sheets to put in their folder.
Any questions please ask.
