This GCSE Photography project looks at Close-up photography, particularly Textures, and is perfect for introducing photography skills and easy to navigate by a non-specialist Photography teacher. Written with references to DSLR cameras, this is easily adaptable for mobile phone use. References are made to both historical and contemporary photographers/designers, Aaron Siskind and Kate Cledwyn. As well as teaching some of the fundamentals of photography in easy to understand language, step-by-step stages of editing styles using both Photoshop and Powerpoint are included so that students explore both photography and ways of developing their work. This detailed project includes starters, knowledge recall and photography analysis slides to support practical work in a full and coherent GCSE project.
