General Knowledge KS4 Intervention Lesson 3

This series of lessons can be used with low ability classes, ideally in intervention type lessons. They include a cognitive activity, discussions on two topics in the news, a general knowledge quiz and a final task where students look at the costs of everyday items and try to gain an better understanding of their prices.
There is a Do Now task at the start linked to the previous lesson. The lessons need white boards and have a Cold Calling section.
They are designed for a one hour lesson, they will appear every two weeks.
Some of the content slides say Y11 but this can be changed as the lesson can also be delivered to Y10.
