This two lesson pack includes:
1. A presentation on the different symbols used in TV weather forecasting.
2. A pair-work activity where one student needs to identify what a weather symbol means, while the other student can see the answer.
3. A powerpoint activity where students role play being weather presenters and must react as the weather symbols appear on the screen.
4. Two lesson plans for the teacher.
We also looked at thermometers, an anemometer and the 'cloud in a bottle' experiment, that didn't quite work but brought across the idea of pressure in relation to clouds.
