Each chapter is summarised with key events, key thematic / character developments and key quotes. This is done in the format of one double sided A4 sheet per volume. There is also a copy without the chapters labelled so that the summary can be printed off and cut into chapters ready for students to put into order as an activity to help them with the whole novel structure.
This resource is very useful as an introduction to the novel and as a guide to refer to whilst reading and re-reading the novel to help visualise what is happening. It is also useful for locating where extracts are in comparison to the rest of the novel - a vital skill for the new exams.
