Are you in need of a quick ready to go, little instruction required math filler?

This resource is a fun hands-on Halloween activity that uses the binary number system to create mini Halloween images.

The images are; Jack’o’Lantern, evil face, bat, pumpkin, candle, skull, candy and ghost.

Students will devour these and be wanting more! By then they will have a beginning understanding of the binary number system.

Binary numbers are an essential part of understanding how computing works. Understanding binary numbers is not only learning within the digital curriculum and helping students become 21st Century learners, but they are also a core element of maths knowledge and learning about different counting systems.

This resource includes;
Two activity sheet sets of 4 puzzles
Answer sheets

If you like this free resource and would like to immerse your students in more of these binary puzzle pictures then please check out my shop Pooley Productions.

Here you will find, in addition to a wide collection of resources, a range of different grid sized binary puzzles resources, including the bundle pack that contains all puzzles I have made.
