Heroes Inquiry Unit

This 6-7 week Who we are (IB PYP) inquiry unit will show learners how heroes can be powerful examples in others’ lives and how learners can become heroes themselves! It can be easily adapted to suit your own class/school and includes:
transdisciplinary theme, central idea, lines of inquiry, key concepts and questions
approaches to learning (ATLs) and learner profile focus
agency and action ideas
assessment - before views, formative, summative, self-assessment and peer.
detailed learning experiences and provocations
wellbeing and mindfulness activities
resources and some links
learning goals and assessment criteria examples.
