  • Understand the need for both high-level and low-level languages
  • Understand the need for:
    • Compilers when translating programs written in a high-level language
    • Interpreters with high-level language programs
    • Assemblers when translating programs written in assembly language
  • Know the difference between a Syntax Error and a Logical Error
