House, home bundle- idioms and chores

**House and Home bundle: Idioms, Activities, and Chores with adverbs of frequency **

Components:

1. Idioms related house and home:

   • From “home is where the heart is” to “everything but the kitchen sink,” students will learn the most commonly used idioms of the topic. You can use this page as a poster and decorate your classroom with it. (A4 size)

2. Idioms with activites

   • You get the same idioms, but this time it is an activity sheet. In the first activity, students have to match the idioms with their meanings. In the second part, you have sentences and the students have to fill in the blank with the idioms.

3. Chores and Responsibilities:

   • Learn essential vocabulary related to household chores and responsibilities. Students have to match the pictures with the chores.

4. Adverbs of Frequency:

   • Students get familiar with the use of adverbs of frequency. After discussing their meaning and position in a sentence, they have to write sentences including the adverbs and different chores.

The bundle contains the answer keys for the activities. (2 pages)

It is suitable for pre-intermediate (A2) and intermediate (B1) level learners.
