A poster to shake some of the complacency we Brits have about the value of learning languages. I based it on a postcard I bought in Berlin last year. I've been criticised publically for this resource so make up your own mind and I hope as linguists and lovers of languages, we can carry on to do this!

Perhaps it would be good to use as a lesson on the incorrect use of apostrophes???

You could use that when introducing nationalities. I think Rachel Hawkes did something similar on where things are from and my kids loved it

Works well with year 9 module 2 "Why languages" are important". I think it's fun. Thanks for sharing

I actually like this a lot COuld be used as a translation/grammar exercise on languages, nationalities, countries. Or also at a higher level as a starting point for a discussion on why to learn a language. Thank you!
