In this lesson pupils will explore the major catholic plots faced by Elizabeth I during her reign, including the Northern Rebellion, Ridolfi Plot, Throckmorton Plot, and the Babington Plot. Pupils will also assess the significance of the international catholic threat posed by Scotland, France and Spain. Pupils will be required an 8 mark question based on a previous past paper.
