Intended to be an A5 booklet, this resource is a step-by-step guide with pictures on the basics of using a computer.
Contents examples:

- How to log onto a computer,
- How to open programs,
- How to save work and open already saved work,
- How to create capital letters and use symbols on a keyboard,

It can be difficult when teaching ICT to ensure all the students know how to do these -what we would call- simple tasks. With this booklet you can show them once together and then promote their independent learning through the use of this booklet.
I had also attached an extra sheet which can be added to the back of the booklet - should you wish - to encourage students to be independent before they approach the teaching staff.
In my paper copies, I also added a copy of Twinkl’s keyboard help sheets.
