Learning objective: Understand the function of the eye in focusing near and distant objects and in responding to changes in light intensity.

Accommodation and Iris reflex.

1. Teacher presentation includes slides on theory addressing the two objectives, web link to online video, quick quiz for each objective with answers to assist assessment for learning, two student copy and complete missing word phrases, two student tasks to construct tables, keywords for both objectives and moving animation on one slide.
2. Student crossword with questions or word search with questions or word search with words provided covering ‘focusing near and distant objects’ provided as a worksheet. Three differentiated option as provided. It is the same worksheet offered in three levels of difficulty.
3. Student fallen puzzle phrase covering ‘responding to changes in light intensity’ and encrypted phrase offered in two levels of difficulty. Answer provided.
