ESL students are typically taught formal greetings when learning English. Most of the time when they are in the English-speaking world, they will use informal greetings, such as “What’s up?” rather than, “Hello there, how are you doing?” This slideshow (with provided slide-by-slide teachable description) will help teach ESL students proper informal greetings they can use with peers, friends, or family.
