Introduction to Ecosystems (with a Rainforest Focus)

An introduction lesson to the basics of ecosystems with a Rainforest focus (although this could easily be adapted for any biome).

Lesson involves:

• Activity around how humans use the environment: student annotate images,
• Moving onto a discussion of what an ecosystem is and what is contains (including a video to watch)
• Ecosystem concept map
• Biome map creation with a set of activities focusing on the Rainforest.
