Introduction to proofreading for homophones

A worksheet introducing/ recapping a broad overview of homophones to teenagers and adults that can be used one-to-one, whole class or in small groups with an emphasis on proofreading skills.

This four-page PDF resource is intended to be very accessible, using graphics, tones and text placement in order to be very readable on screen and in print. It could be used as a discussion point before going into more specific homophone exercises in class.

The proofreading text task at the end is designed to be used one-to-one, as a whole-group exercise, or as group work. It’s intended to be very flexible and easy-to-use.
