Three separate reading comprehensions requiring pupils to RETRIEVE information. Some inference and personal comments required but these are designed for retrieval. Themes are inventions of crayons, play-doh and scissors - all child friendly products. Reading level is aimed at about purple/gold. Useful for guided reading, whole class reading comp practise, homework or even topic work. Uses tasks such as find and copy, circle one, tick the boxes ...all of which feature on national SATs.
