Key Stage 2- Communities and internet safety

**This set of lessons covers a number of areas in keeping with the new RSE curriculum/ PSE curriculum. **

-Lesson 1: Identity and good communities- This encourages students to look at themselves as many pieces which make up their identity. It then shows them how each piece of their identity can connect them to new/ positive communities. It touches on protected characteristics as mentioned in the new PSE guidelines

-Lesson 2: Identity and bad communities- This lesson looks at bad communities and how to practise positive values to avoid becoming a part of them. It builds resilience against hateful practises. Again reinforcing the new PSE guidelines

Lesson 3: Internet Safety and Fake News- This lesson practises critical thinking online and creates a wall display and games.

Lesson 4: This looks at safe internet use on social media.

Lesson 5: This is a lesson of games to explore British Values
