KS1 information on Caribbean Leaflet

I produced this leaflet for Black History Week for a geography lesson focusing on the Caribbean used in Year 1 and Year 2. The leaflet I created has some basic information and a map of the Caribbean, flag pictures and descriptions for 2 Caribbean countries, pictures and descriptions of some animals and fruits found in the Caribbean. The leaflet is designed to model to the children their activity and what I expect them to produce. The second resource provided is the leaflet template for the children to create their own Caribbean leaflet. The children's leaflet template is blank with no pictures and no words, it is a range of boxes of different sizes aimed at making it clear for the children how they should structure their leaflet in terms of their title, pictures and descriptions. The children found this a very fun lesson, and found it helpful having a leaflet template provided and being able to see what a leaflet looks like.
