KS1 Resource: Matching Common 2D shapes to 3D Objects Worksheet

This worksheet consists of two simple exercises. The learner is required to:

1. write down the names of the shapes and objects shown
2. match each 2D shape to a 3D object

The worksheet is suitable for early years (ages 4-5) and is useful for developing their knowledge, thinking and writing and spelling skills. The exercise can be completed alongside a practical activity (e.g. finding objects in the room with similar shapes).
