Included is a question sheet, 2 different sheets with pizzas to be cut up (using scissors and stuck on the question sheet), and a lesson plan. One sheet has the slices already divided (easier) and the other sheet has blank pizzas that need to be divided (trickier).

This was day 2 of "link fractions to known multiplication facts." Again we talked about linking multiplication with division as a class but the activity was practical and focused on division. This was used with a Year 3 class. Day 1 (sharing smarties) can be found on my author dashboard.

Like in yesterday's activity those who could manage were additionally extended by writing the answers as different fractions; recognizing 2/4 can also be written as 1/2 ect,.
