The Powerpoint slides cover the basic principles of Levers supported by explanatory diagrams, together with real-life examples illustrating ways in which the lever principle is put to good use to easily create a larger force, such as in the case of removing a bicycle tyre by means of a tyre lever. Several other examples are included. The slides will be useful for the teacher to run through, immediately prior to teaching the topic, and also will be suitable, without modification, for use in the classroom.
