KS2 or KS3 "Childhood Poetry" unit of work

A unit of work covering some classic poems about childhood and children, preparing KS2 or KS3 students to study poetry. It builds from basics, studying structure and techniques, to work towards an assessment on Heaney’s classic “Mid Term Break”. This includes lots of interactive, engaging activities as well as assessments, “Close the Gap Work” and differentiation. Please note, videos have been removed as per TES guidelines. This was originally taught to middle ability Y7 students.
