Want a simple way to kick off the first week back after Christmas? Start your Spring term the right way with these four English lessons that guide children through the basics of writing a diary entry and using coordinating conjunctions to extend their sentences. They will retell their Christmas Day through diary writing. These lessons have also been adapted so that they can be used with children who do not celebrate Christmas - they can recount another day of the holidays.
