KS2 SATs Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling Question Mats

Designed by a Year 6 teacher for Year 6 children, this resource contains 10 past-SATs question mats relating to all areas assessed in the Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling SATs test.

These resources are ideal to use as regular short-burst GPS practice for Year 6 preparing for KS2 SATs. They can be used as part of whole-class or small group lessons or guided sessions. Extension activities could include asking children to create their own similar question mats for future classes, or completing a mat full of mistakes and asking the children to correct the errors. They are also useful to use to teach children test technique or to draw children’s attention to common errors made.

The resources focus on all areas of the national curriculum as assessed by KS2 GPS tests.
