KS2 Science Habitats Unit - presentation and resources.
Presentation includes material for several lessons and covers areas from the National Curriculum for children to be able to:
• identify different organisms
• classify organisms by using their features
• identify similarities and differences when comparing organisms
• identify food sources for animals using their habitat to help
• understand the structure of food chains in specific habitats
• understand that habitats and the environment need protecting
• understand the effect of changes to an environment will have an effect on a habitat and animals
• use a classification key to help identify, group and name a variety of living things
