This download teaches children about the witch trials in English history in one complete lesson.

There is a detailed 42 slide PowerPoint on the background to witches in England, England’s Witch Hunters and trials, some of the most famous trials and how they came to an end. There are also differentiated, 11 page, worksheets to allow students to demonstrate their understanding. I have also included a video of my own lesson (using these resources) which took place online for teacher’s understanding or to show the class. After the lesson children can take part in a digital escape room to practice their new knowledge.
