Learning Numbers : 1 to 9

* Numbers 1-9 are introduced to the child through concrete, manipulative objects that enable him/her to understand basic concepts.
* More abstract forms are then used as the child progresses from number, quantity numerals to concepts such as plus value.
* As the child progresses, he/she starts working with addition (+), subtraction (-), multiplication(x) and division (/) using specially designed materials.
* In the entire process of teaching mathematics, the emphasis is on understanding numberness of the number rather than on rote learning.

The major objective of doing all the activities at the initial stage is to develop :

Basic mental skills.

Counting with understanding & recognition.

It also includes fingers related to number. It will help child to visualize the number on his/her own.

Each sheets also include how to write number as well a small supporting poem with picture.

It will help to remember the number forever.
