This is an introduction to Pattern and Relationship for teenagers and adults with special educational needs. It is a full course and includes student worksheets and teaching slides.

The resource is intended to introduce students to pattern and relationship, including:
Finding patterns
Completing patterns
Describing patterns
Designing patterns

Topics include:
Types of patterns
Patterns in nature
Patterns in everyday life
Number, letter, shape, colour patterns
Finding rhythm patterns

These worksheets are designed to cover the following learning outcomes:
Identify a range of regular / linear and irregular / non linear patterns eg. musical rhythms and phrases in a natural and built up environment.
Identify number patterns eg. increases in steps of two.
Use number to describe pattern eg. clapping out a rhythm, visual description of - two yellow, one red
Design a simple pattern with a limited amount of variables.

This resource is a digital resource. If you have purchased this resource and would like to use it for online teaching, you have permission to do so. A fillable and printable version is included. Students can type in their answers online, or worksheets can be printed. Teachers can also use them for whole-class teaching using a projector or interactive whiteboard.
