I have created a lesson for LGBTQ+ history month focusing on being gay in 16th and 17th Century Europe. The intention is to integrate the themed history month into the curriculum rather than have a tokenistic ‘LGBTQ+ history month’ lesson that has no relevance to the current scheme of learning.
This has been designed for Year 8 to appear between their topic on Elizabeth I and the English Civil War, but it could be adapted to suit your context.
