Included are 6 different assemblies and tutor time powerpoints that you can use and edit as you wish, for different events in the calendar. * Black History Month LGBTQ+ celebration assembly/lesson * Pride Month assembly- focus on Equality * Pride Month Assembly - the history of Pride and being an Ally * LGBTQ+ History Month- The AIDS crisis * LGBTQ+ History Month- Trans history * Diversity Week Assembly- what does it mean to be proud? * Pride assembly- why do people celebrate pride? The slides are mostly self-explanatory but there is some guidance within the notes section on the slides to help you deliver the assembly should you need it, as well as an explanation slide at the beginning of the powerpoint. Please be aware that most of these assemblies require you to have a little bit of input on your part- generally it is just updating the slides which tell students who to go to if they have concerns or want to talk.
