My dear Reader,

This lesson is the nineteen one of a set on American West. ; It looks at life in the reservations and its consequences. It aims to have students matching knowledge on events and answering exam questions.
All lessons are interactive, have a same-model structure to get the students taught in a coherent manner, and always understand where they are at in their learning:

LO 1:To understand the acts and treaties that regulated the Indian territory.
LO 2: To evaluate how Indian lifestyle changed in reservations.
LO 3: To explain the change of lifestyle for Indians 1830-1887.

All tasks are assessed.
A very straight forward lesson.
The resources are at the end of the Power Point.
I also made a lesson 20 on Little Crow’s war and a set on Plain Indians, Settlers and Development of the Plains, Law and Order, Law and Crime or the full unit.
