This is the 30 minute Literacy lesson that I planned and delivered in a year 4 class as part of my interview process for the role of class teacher. I was successful at lesson observation stage and was formally offered the role :)
I decided to focus on expanded noun phrases and creating suspense.
I have added all resources that I provided during the lesson.
I took in a set of large, old, rusty keys as the writing prompt/stimulus.
I hope that it is of some help to any candidates going to interview or simply as a stand alone lesson.
