Each activity card includes:
- a summary of the poem’s meaning and viewpoint
- examples (approx. 6-7) of tier two vocabulary taken from the poems
- definitions of these tier two vocabulary examples
- space for students to write sentences using this new vocabulary
- a ‘think harder’ question related to the poem and/or its meaning
