This proposal details a 20-hour course spread over three days. Its aim is to improve the general research and writing skills of Masters/PhD students. Specifically, students will improve their skills in:
- Referencing and synthesizing
- The features of academic writing
- Critical thinking
- Writing an effective literature review
In addition, students will receive one-to-one support and feedback on the work they have produced so far.
The course could be delivered as a pre-sessional or in-sessional course.
