This resource has been created in line with the GCSE module ‘Britain, migration, empires and the people c790 to the present day’.

The resource contains a powerpoint presentation, teacher’s notes and a student’s workbook.

The workshop is based on an exhibition called ‘Leadership on a Journey’ which explored leaders from the Black British, Asian and global Methodist family. The leaders shared their experiences within the Methodist Church and society generally, including their stories of migration and journeys. The stories of two of these leaders have been used for this workshop. The lesson should take approx 1 hour and looks at the experiences, impacts and outcomes for the two leaders featured.
