Hubertine Heijermans lives as senior woman-artist in the Vaud canton in Switzerland, where she lives already for some thirty years; she was born in The Netherlands.

Her print art and watercolors show very detailed the Swiss regional agriculture landscapes - the fields, hills, mountains and meadows in the Pré-Alp area, Le Romande - on the French side of Switzerland. Moreover she pictures very detailed the farm-houses, wooden barns, rural sheds and stables. It is the rural Swiss architecture we recognize in her art.
