Movie Guide made for Frozen (PG - 2013) | Identity | Fear | Love

Challenge students to explore the emotional and thematic depths of "Frozen”, explore various vocabulary words like, mental synchronization, pungent, and assertive. Discuss Kirstoff’s character traits as recognized by the trolls’ song lyrics. Encourage students to reflect on the responsibility of actions during play, the consequences of isolation and fear as shown through Elsa and Anna’s relationship, and the impact of societal expectations on personal identity and choices. This guide invites a rich dialogue on the power of love, self-acceptance, and the courage to be oneself, challenging students to consider the various dimensions of character development and narrative storytelling.

This resource consists of 11 high-level, short answer and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.

**Distance Learning Tips:

• Distribute the Google Slides version to each student
• Use the screen sharing tool on your group call software to play the movie
• Pause the movie at each question to give students time to write/discuss
