Resources include a handout of 5 different Nazi electoral posters and a lesson made around using them to understand why propaganda was made and how it was effectively used by the Nazi party in the 1930s.

1 poster is looked at in depth in the lesson as an example and explained by the teacher. The hand out provides 5 posters for students to do independently or in pairs/groups - they must explain the message of the posters, what Nazi ideas or views are shown in the propaganda, and why the source would help the Nazis gain votes.

Posters include topics that the students have likely covered in looking at Nazi Germany - Unemployment/Poverty, Women, Anger at the Treaty of Versailles and how Germany has been treated.

Handout is easily used as a homework after a lesson/unit of work on the Nazis or their use of propaganda/growing popularity.

Lesson includes further tasks using the sources to support different statements, and an extended writing piece.
