Matters of Life and Death - New Edexcel

Hello,

I have created these lessons for the Edexcel GCSE RS Spec B ‘Religion and Ethics through Christianity’ topic 4 ‘Matters of Life & Death’.

Each lesson contains starter task, core knowledge, activities, exam questions, scripture, Stretch & Challenge activities.

Edexcel’s Scheme of Work recommends that we spend 2 hours on each subtopic so most are double lessons. However these can be condensed into 1 lesson if required. I had to do this with my current year 10s as I needed to fast track them whereas my year 9s have double the time.

I have also included a double sided key knowledge revision sheet and Personal Learning Checklist.
