New Zealand Handwriting Copy Cards – blends, digraphs and trigraphs

A set of 36 handwriting copy cards.
Each card contains 6 words that begin with a common blend, digraph or trigraph.

The font used is NZ Basic Script. The letter/number shapes are the same as those recommended in the NZ Ministry of Education Handbook – ‘Teaching Handwriting’.

Two cards on each A4 sized paper.
‘Ink-friendly’ black and white.

Numbers 0-9 at the bottom of each card.
Two sets of cards provided – half height numbers and full height numbers.

Use the cards however you wish. For example:
• Write one line of each word.
• Put each word into a sentence.
• Write a sentence (or two) that contains all 6 words.
• Brainstorm a list of additional words after completing the card.
• Use the cards in a word study activity.
