Nirvana

Power-point slide with full lesson on the concept of nirvana in Buddhism, including a hyper-linked video and explanations of lesson activities on each slide or in the notes section under some slides. The aim is to help students to understand the concept fully, including how and why it is impossible to describe in ordinary language, how it is the final escape from all suffering and how it transcends existence and non-existence. Probably best delivered later on in a scheme of work, as some prior knowledge and understanding will be needed (e.g. 8 fold path, 3 poisons, enlightenment).
