This is the third lesson in a set of three covering the structure and function of the KIdney. This lesson specifically focuses on specification point 5.1.2 d- the role of the kidney is osmoregulation. It covers the kidney as an excretory organ as well as the role of ADH in controlling the water balance. It reinforces prior learning regarding negative feedback systems . It also includes how the pituitary gland and hypothalamus are involved.
The lesson includes a starter, full notes, a variety of student led activities, and a differentiated summary at the end.
