Activities are designed for use as a starter or plenary activity in French, with some potential for use with a non specialist cover teacher. 10 different areas of basic French vocabulary are used to allow the pupils to simply identify the “odd one out”. This can be used as a springboard for extended vocabulary work, why is it the odd one out and a possible extension could be to challenge the students to produce their own. The whole presentation has 10 activities and 33 slides.
