Before The Co-operative began construction of its new head office, archaeologists investigated
the site because they knew it had been at the centre of the early stages of the industrial
revolution. What they found contrasted greatly with the comfortable, efficient building that
soon began to take shape on the site!

(even if you are in a Victorian building), and think about how your school could be refurbished
with modern, sustainable materials to offer the building a new lease of life.
