It was an Estyn inspected 'Excellent' lesson. These resources were taken by the inspector as an example of good practice.
It is a 'Grab & Go' resource-a complete lesson. It is based on the true cost of war, the various forms of non-violent protest and enables pupils to somewhat understand how this relates to pacifist belief. The PowerPoint is fully editable. This contains a literacy task in the form of a letter to the Prime Minister about War.
There are a variety of tasks contained in this resource-more than a lesson's worth of material, making it possible for you to spread this over the course of a few lessons or to pick and choose activities to suit the needs of your class.
